Community Projects

Boon Brown has a proven track record of successfully working with community groups to turn concepts into reality. We understand the process of consultation, negotiation and funding requirements that are often integral to community projects. Our experienced architectural team can assist with developing proposals, prepare feasibility studies and sketch designs together with budget costings to ensure that a project is viable and meets the requirements from funding bodies.

Our experience in community projects include town and village halls, community centres, places of worship, children’s learning centres, sport centres and cadet centres.

Public Consultation

We have been involved with, and indeed led, many public consultation exercises, with projects of various sizes and complexity.

Our Chartered Town Planners have extensive experience of public consultation, having set up and supported ‘Planning for Real’ exercises, and ‘Village Design Guide’ days as well as having represented the Local Planning Authority and Boon Brown clients at public meetings and open days. Our planners are adept at producing Statements of Community Involvement to support planning applications. When considering the local community, Boon Brown does not only include people living in the immediate area, but also local interest groups and community leaders such as District, Parish and Town Councillors.
