Throughout his life, Jack has lived in different areas of the world and been exposed to various cultures, languages, and people. These experiences have taught him to adapt quickly to different situations, environments and challenges. Before moving to the UK, Jack lived in China for six years where he attended high school and enrolled in the Chinese branch of the University of Liverpool. After two years studying there, he took the opportunity to transfer to the UK where he completed two more years of study and graduated with a BA(Hons) in Architecture.
Jack’s time in Liverpool has greatly developed his knowledge and passion for architecture. Throughout his degree he became proficient in various architectural software, as well as model making, sketching and technical drawing. Furthermore, he developed great communication and presentation skills, both verbally and graphically.
Jack is a fast learner and is committed to continuously developing his skills in architectural practice. His internship experiences and work in the construction industry have developed skills such as time management, organisation and multi-tasking and broadened his understanding of how a building and its individual elements are made.
