Plot 202B, 202C and 203 Barking Riverside
Regeneration Development on Brownfield Site
London & Quadrant
Barking Riverside is one of the UK’s largest regeneration sites in East London. It is being built on land formerly occupied by Barking Power Station, adjacent to the river Thames. The overall redevelopment will offer over 10,000 new homes, plus 65,000 sq metres of commercial space, leisure facilities and schools, alongside 2km of Thames river frontage.
Commissioned by L&Q, our appointment from RIBA stage 3 to project completion on Plot 202B, 202C and 203 will deliver 227 dwellings across the three plots, comprising a mix of terraced townhouses and mansion block apartments.
Following a validation exercise on the employer’s requirements, and incorporating a number of design developments, Boon Brown has modelled the project using Revit and co-ordinated the design in conjunction with the superstructure and M&E consultants.
The project is due to start on site in Summer 2017.
