Soren has recently joined Boon Brown as Assistant Landscape Architect, having had five years of work and internship experience in the landscape design and construction sector in the UK, Switzerland and Denmark. He has worked on a range of commercial, residential and public-realm projects. His technical education background enables him to advise on the feasibility of landscape architectural designs.
He has particular expertise in sustainable urban drainage, green roofs and walls, and outdoor sports facilities. In Switzerland, he worked on a stormwater-protection plan for a mountain village, a park surrounding a 17th-century castle, and the outdoor space of an Alpine luxury hotel which included a natural swimming pool. In the UK, Soren has worked on a mixed-use development scheme of 2200 new homes and a 100-acre logistics and industrial hub.
As a Scandinavian, Soren enjoys minimalism. However, he also admires the British approach to conservation and progress. His design philosophy rests on combining futuristic and natural features to create functional and beautiful places.
