After a career as a sculptor that included gallery and conservation work, as well as creating full scale street scenes for films, Tom graduated from the Macintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow. In March 2017, he joined Boon Brown as an Architect.
Having worked in Glasgow for several years on projects such as the refurbishment and extension of the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Carlton Place, Tom moved south. He was attracted by the diversity of the Boon Brown portfolio, particular liking the challenges of planning and layout issues for large residential developments.
He’s currently working on a 14 unit housing development near Yeovil; a satisfying scheme on a limited site where each house is different. He’s also been involved in designing extensions for Listed Buildings.
