Architectural Technologist
Responsibilities
- The creation and development of design proposals and planning applications through to technical specifications, tender packages, and detailed construction drawings. Primary focus of RIBA work stages 3-5.
- Actively engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and other construction professionals.
- Ensure the high-quality delivery of written and drawn information.
- Carry out designer CDM responsibilities.
- Attend and help with site appraisals, surveys, client meetings and site inspections.
- Being part of a cohesive team, involved with mentoring and supporting our colleagues, to grow and learn together.
Requirements
- Be highly motivated, organised with excellent communication skills.
- Be CIAT registered.
- Have a strong construction knowledge and a mindset to develop this skill base.
- Have current working knowledge of sustainable, low carbon building technologies.
- Have at least 3 years UK office based, post qualification experience.
- Be skilled in the use of AutoCAD. Experience with Revit in addition will be advantageous.
