Apartments within a large scale mixed use development
Located in the historic Roman town of Dorchester, Brewery Square is an extensive mixed-use redevelopment of the former 4.6ha Eldridge Pope Brewery. This second phase of the Brewery Square development delivers the first significant part of the new-build masterplan which included a variety of apartments for private sale and retirement living.
The complex facades use a mix of materials to define the different elements including copper shingle, standing seam cladding, stone rainscreen, brickwork, renders and striking steel painted arches. The complex detailing provides a diverse street scene which gives Brewery Square a striking identity within Dorchester Town Centre.
On this prestigious project, Boon Brown delivered the technical working drawing packages for construction and assisted during the build process as and when queries arised on site.
