6 new homes on the Jurassic Coast
This scheme for 6 new dwellings on an extremely sensitive site, overlooking the heritage coast of Lyme Bay. Behind the site lies a Grade I Listed Church, the presence of which prompted the involvement of English Heritage throughout the design process.
The site warranted a contemporary design approach which complimented and contrasted against the heritage asset. The design gained the full support of the Planning Officer, Conservation Officer and English Heritage winning a RIBA Award in 2003.
