Description :

New agricultural tied dwelling with garaging, home office and annex

North Leaze is a typical stone somerset farmhouse formed around a traditional courtyard comprised of a main house, garaging, home office and annex. The house has fantastic views into open countryside, made possible across a newly built ha-ha which ensures livestock are kept at a safe distance from the home.

The house itself was designed to provide the client with a variety of internal spaces and environments which suit the whole family. An impressive orangery contains a large glass lantern and takes advantage of the available views and natural light, whilst other spaces provide more cosy private living areas. A bespoke oak and wrought iron staircase takes centre stage in the heart of the home forming a two-storey gallery over the main entrance hall.

Working closely with the Contractor, Boon Brown ensured the highest quality of finish including the design of purpose made joinery as well as small scale internal details. This level of detailing really adds to the quality of finish and overall authenticity of the farmhouse.
