Part II Architectural Assistant
Responsibilities
- The creation and development of design proposals and planning applications through to building regulation drawings. Technical specifications, tender packages, and onsite experience preferable (RIBA stages 0-7).
- The role will include contributing/providing support to the lead architect overseeing the project, being responsible for liaising with clients, the coordination of the design team and specialist consultants, meeting the programme, controlling the budget, discharging planning conditions, attendance at site meetings and carrying out measured surveys.
- Ensure the high-quality delivery of written and drawn information.
- Carry out CDM designer responsibilities.
- Attend and help with site appraisals, surveys, client meetings and site inspections.
- Being part of a cohesive team, involved with supporting our colleagues, to grow and learn together.
Requirements
- Have a passion for Architecture, be highly motivated, organised with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to a varying workload and tight deadlines.
- Excellent presentation skills and keen eye for design detail.
- Ideally have at least 1+ years UK office-based experience.
- Experienced in use of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup and Revit would be a bonus.
- Ideally with experience in residential sector.
- UK driving License.
