New contemporary dwelling and change of use of care home to create new dwelling
Originally working with developer Lennox Estates, BoonBrown prepared a planning application for the partial demolition of the existing care home, to be replaced with a new build voysey-inspired home. The remaining part of the care home which was of architectural merit, and was converted into a new dwelling, with extensions to the rear and conversion of the loft space.
Following planning permission, the buyers of the new-build plot appointed BoonBrown to develop drawings for construction including elements of interior work. The house was completed in 2023 true to the original vision and includes four double bedrooms, three living spaces, home office and basement cinema room.
