Overview
Daedalus Waterfront is an ambitious regeneration project currently transforming a former military and aviation site on the Solent coastline into a thriving mixed-use neighbourhood. Bringing together new homes, employment space, commercial uses and public amenities, the development seeks to unlock the potential of this historically significant waterfront location while creating a destination designed for future generations.
Honouring the past, shaping the future
Since consent was secured, BoonBrown has been appointed to lead the architectural and landscape delivery of the scheme, progressing detailed design across residential neighbourhoods, employment areas, heritage buildings and public spaces.

Creating a connected waterfront destination
The project is currently progressing through the delivery phase, with particular focus on the implementation of key regeneration zones, including new employment space, residential development and the restoration of historic buildings such as the barracks square. Alongside this, BoonBrown has been developing the landscape strategy and public realm proposals that will help establish the character of the emerging community, including new parks, waterfront spaces and Seaplane Square.
