Official Opening of Compigne Court, Gosport
BoonBrown was delighted to attend the official opening of Compigne Court, a landmark independent living development in Gosport that is already providing a vibrant new community for local residents.

The opening celebration brought together more than 80 residents, supporters and staff to mark the completion of the development, which comprises 30 high-quality retirement apartments on Grove Road and is now home to 36 local people.
Representing BoonBrown at the event was Architectural Director and Project Architect Georgina Martin, who joined project partners, residents and stakeholders to celebrate the successful delivery of the scheme and its positive impact on the local community.
Designed to support independent living while fostering a strong sense of community, Compigne Court provides modern, accessible homes tailored to the needs of older residents. The development combines thoughtfully designed apartments with shared facilities and communal spaces, creating opportunities for residents to remain independent while enjoying the benefits of a supportive environment.
The official opening marked an important milestone for everyone involved in the project. From the earliest design stages through to completion, collaboration between the client, consultant team and contractor has been key to creating a development that meets both the practical and social needs of its residents.
As Project Architect, BoonBrown is proud to have contributed to a scheme that will enhance quality of life for local people and provide a welcoming place to call home for years to come. Seeing residents settled into the development and celebrating its official opening is a rewarding moment and a testament to the collective efforts of the wider project team.
Compigne Court demonstrates the important role that well-designed housing can play in supporting healthy, connected communities, providing not just homes, but places where people can thrive.
