Overview

BoonBrown is proud to support Stepnell as Project Architect on Cameron Walk, a regeneration project transforming the former Cameron Centre community centre and police station site in Lockleaze, Bristol. Delivering 37 affordable homes alongside a flexible community hub, the development forms part of Bristol City Council's wider programme to provide high-quality, sustainable housing across the city.

Delivering quality through technical excellence

Appointed for RIBA Stages 4-6, BoonBrown has led the development and coordination of the technical design information required to deliver the project on site. Working closely with Stepnell and the wider consultant team, our role has focused on translating the design vision into a robust, buildable solution.

The development is arranged across two complementary buildings incorporating affordable apartments, a café and shared community hub. Together, the buildings create a new focal point for the neighbourhood, reconnecting an important community site with the wider Lockleaze area while supporting Bristol's ambition for well-designed, affordable and sustainable housing.
