Casa Di Lusso is a 5,515sqm (59,360 sq ft) care home which comprises; assisted living bedrooms, dementia care facility, ensuite assisted bathrooms, catering kitchen, lounges, a management office and ancillary plant rooms. The care home offers a combination of accommodation, supporting services, assistance and specialist healthcare that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of the residents.

The linear site and requirement for a large floor plate, meant that a contemporary design approach felt more appropriate as well as suiting the clients requirements. The long elevation was visually broken by using a mixture of zinc, brick and render in dramatic forms which created a dynamic and exciting facade.

Externally, sensory landscaped gardens designed specifically for individuals living with dementia created a sensitive outdoor environment.
