Extension and reconfiguration of the Haste wing to house two MRI scanners, and co-locate the Cardiology and Radiology teams. Additional works included reconfiguration of adjacent space within the main hospital building to provide more efficient accommodation.

An overview of each phase is set out below :

Phase one: Strip out and remodel area within the main hospital building, to provide a decant space for the services based in the existing Haste Wing.

Phase two: Strip out, extend and remodel the Haste wing, including coordinating the installation of the two MRI scanners with the specialist suppliers.

Phase three: Remodel the decant areas in the main hospital for future uses, while providing a new reception area for the Haste wing.
